Abstract quantum
Dear Palozzi,
in your latest production (especially in your last three years works) it seems to me that, through your meditation on Quanta, you succeeded in elaborating an original and highly personal picture, that is at the same time grateful to some of the most eminent painters of the last century: from Piero Dorazio to several American artists of the 60's and 70's.
It seems to me of great interest your attempt to make coexist the Figure - always an elemental, not a narrating one; a questioning Figure, mysteriously floating in space - with a background (that is not exactly what it seems, not merely a background) that - infinitely stitched through and through and animated by a careful and patient work of signic and chromatic multiplication - tends to appear on the surface, where it upsets the Figures Lacerti, residuals or memories of a different life.
